Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, installing, accessing, or using Flair Filters products (“Products”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use the Products.

1. Product Use & Replacement Obligations

1.1 Intended Use

The Products are intended solely for use as disposable add-on air-conditioning filters in compatible residential air-conditioning systems.

1.2 Proper Installation & Monitoring

You are solely responsible for ensuring proper installation, compatibility with your air-conditioning unit, and ongoing monitoring of filter condition and system airflow.

1.3 Mandatory Replacement

Each filter must be replaced within four (4) weeks of installation.

Filters must be removed and discarded immediately if they become:

• Visibly dirty or clogged
  
• Damp or mold-affected
  
• Damaged
  
• Odorous
  
• Installed for longer than four (4) weeks
  
  

Continued use beyond four (4) weeks or after deterioration may result in reduced effectiveness, airflow restriction, hygiene concerns, or strain on the air-conditioning system.

2. Safety & Handling

2.1 Children & Pets

Products must be stored and handled out of reach of children and pets. Flair Filters shall not be liable for injury, ingestion, choking, or incidents arising from improper storage or access.

2.2 No Reuse

Filters are single-use, non-recyclable consumables and must not be washed, reused, modified, or altered.

2.3 Normal Wear & External Factors

Air-conditioning system wear, dust accumulation, mold formation, humidity effects, and environmental pollution levels vary. Flair Filters is not responsible for system performance changes, accelerated wear, or maintenance issues not caused by a proven manufacturing defect.

3. Warranty

3.1 Limited Warranty

Flair Filters warrants that Products are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery.

3.2 Disclaimer of Other Warranties

Except as expressly stated above, all other warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Health & Performance Disclaimer

4.1 No Medical Claims

The Products are designed to support improved indoor air filtration. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

4.2 No Health Guarantee

Flair Filters does not guarantee any specific health outcome, allergy reduction, respiratory improvement, or air-quality result.

4.3 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that indoor air quality depends on multiple external factors including pollution levels, humidity, system maintenance, usage patterns, and environmental conditions beyond Flair Filters’ control.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flair Filters shall not be liable for:

• Damage to air-conditioning units or property
  
• Loss of use, downtime, or business interruption
  
• Health conditions, sickness, allergies, or respiratory reactions
  
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  
  

This includes claims arising from:

• Incorrect installation
  
• Failure to replace filters within four (4) weeks
  
• Use beyond recommended lifespan
  
• Misuse, modification, or abnormal use
  
• Environmental factors or negligence
  

In all cases, Flair Filters’ total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific Product giving rise to the claim.

6. Returns & Consumable Nature

6.1 No Returns After Delivery

Due to the consumable and hygiene-sensitive nature of the Products, returns are not accepted once delivered, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects or delivery errors.

6.2 Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact hello@flairfilters.com within 7 days of delivery.

7. Subscription & Recurring Billing

7.1 Subscription Authorisation

By enrolling in a subscription plan, you authorise Flair Filters to automatically charge your selected payment method at the chosen interval.

7.2 Cancellation

Subscriptions may be cancelled via your account portal or by contacting hello@flairfilters.com prior to the next billing date. Charges processed before cancellation are non-refundable.

7.3 Changes

Flair Filters may update subscription pricing or intervals with reasonable advance notice.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flair Filters, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or legal expenses arising from:

• Misuse of the Products
  
• Failure to replace filters as recommended
  
• Violation of these Terms
  
• Negligent installation, handling, or disposal
  

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

10. Amendments

Flair Filters reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued purchase or use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
