Flair Filters are designed to be trimmed to match your mesh filter. Simply cut your Flair Filter to fit your unit.
Trimming also lets you control airflow. Cut back your Flair Filter to expose 30% of your mesh filter for stronger airflow, or leave more covered for maximum filtration. The electrostatic charge in our filters, combined with air rotating through the AC unit, keeps your filter working effectively even after trimming.
Wall Mounted Split Unit
1. Open your air-con front cover.
2. Gently pull out the mesh filter.
3. If you’ve used Flair before, remove the old filter.
4. Apply the double-sided tape to the new Flair Filter to help it stay in place.
5. Stick the new filter securely onto the mesh filter. Trim your Flair Filter to size or to allow for more airflow
6. Place the mesh with the new Flair Filter back into your air-con unit. Repeat steps for the second mesh filter.
7. Close the air-con front cover and turn on the unit

1. Open your air-con cover.
2. Gently remove the mesh filter.
3. Place your Flair Filter
4. Trim your Flair Filter to size or to allow for more airflow
5. Close to sandwich the filter between the mesh filter and the frame
Flair filters reduce airflow by only 5% to 15%, but deliver up to 90% pollution filtration in return. It’s a small trade off. You can easily improve airflow in two ways: 1. Increase your aircon's fan speed for full coverage. 2. Trim the filter up to 30% so it doesn't cover the entire mesh filter. The electrostatic charge of the filter still ensures pollution gets filtered out from your home, while improving airflow.
With Flair Filters, can I skip my aircon servicing?
No, Flair Filters are not a replacement for your regular aircon maintenance. While our filters may prevent mold spores from entering your machine, we highly recommend you continue to service your aircon every quarter with a professional service provider. It is essential for the longevity of your system and overall cleanliness of your home's air!

How do I use my filters safely?
Replace every 2 months for best results. In climates like Asia and The Middle East, fresh filters mean fresher air. Store unused filters somewhere cool and dry, and if a filter ever looks dirty, damp, or smells off, just swap it out early. These are single-use filters, so please don't wash them.

How do I install my filters?
Installing Flair filters is simple and takes less than a minute:
Open the front cover of your aircon unit and remove the existing dust filter.
Attach the Flair filter sheet on top of the dust filter using the included double-sided tape.
Place the dust filter back into your aircon unit and close the cover — and you’re all set.
